Buy Library Ebooks with DPLA Exchange
DPLA recently launched the DPLA Exchange, an e-content marketplace built by libraries, for libraries. Member libraries can acquire open and licensed ebooks to serve their patrons.
Explore Free Ebooks
DPLA is working to expand the discoverability, accessibility, and availability of ebooks for the general public. In addition to selling licensed content through the DPLA Exchange, DPLA has helped create free collections with the help of our Curation Corps of librarians.
Join the Ebook Community
DPLA facilitates and participates in ongoing discussions about ebooks and their future with the larger ebook community. We are especially excited to participate in growing the Library Simplified open-source software, developed by The New York Public Library.
Become a DPLA Exchange Library
A content marketplace built by libraries, for libraries. It’s one piece of an emerging national digital platform for library e-content service based on open-source architecture alongside two other components - the Library Simplified content management system and the SimplyE app. Membership in the DPLA Exchange is free. Help us build a better library ebook ecosystem.
